A Business Intelligence Analyst creates and manages the BI/Dashboard program for Perkins&Will. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with the database, financial and infrastructure teams to create visuals (reports, dashboards, etc.) in PowerBI and to ensure that the data presented to the department/management groups for key business decisions are made using the latest information, actionable metrics, and engaging visuals.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with the CIO and other key stakeholders to define the goals and strategies of the Analytics department.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with key business stakeholders to define and understand strategic business needs and the ability to create and present actionable outcomes from data visuals
  • Technical and working knowledge of PowerBI to create compelling and actionable visuals (reports and dashboards)
  • Understanding of statistical tools such as R and/or Dax.
  • Understanding of databases (front and back end – SQL, Mongo, etc.)
  • Working in a team setting - especially with the database, financial and infrastructure teams to define and create analytic products
  • Manage and deliver projects in a timely manner using the fundamentals of Project Management

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • 2-3 years working with PowerBI and data visualization software
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals based upon data analytics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
