Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop a plan for a new business start-up. This business plan will be working with an entrepreneurial and innovative special needs young lady with autism. She has a vison to create mental health boxes to support individuals with anxiety management and coping skills. She has created a powerpoint presentation describing her initial plan. She wants someone with start-up skills to help her launch the product and turn it from a ‘side gig” to a real business. She has a small customer who will take delivery of the mental health kits in a box. “Coping in a Box” by Emma

Business Development – Product Development

· Create a business plan.

· This will include target components (packaging) and coping aids

· Determine milestone and implementation schedule

· Determine target customers and price points

· Determine over all viability and market opportunities.

Sourcing

· Will need to help find suppliers to produce the components

· Quoting and determining product specification and quality requirements.

Production and Fulfillment

· Determine how the production and kitting will get done.

· Develop a personnel plan and hiring plans

Financial

· Determine the initial budgeting requirements

· Determine kits price points and margins

· Help secure funding to buy components

· Put together financial plans and help determine funding sources

o Banks, Angel Investors, Small Business Grants through the State for Disabled Persons, Other?

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (four-year college or technical school).
• 1 plus years of experience in Education, Social Services or Business preferred.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Must have access to an automobile and internet access at home.
• Able to pass all required background checks.
• Will need a proven track record in start-up/ventures.

WORK LOCATION:

· Work from home

· TEAM calls and weekly onsite meeting/updates

· Location is Milford MA area.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $51.00 per hour
