Scope of Position

Chemtrade is looking for a Business Development/Account Manager to manage existing and cultivate new business relationships within the semiconductor industry in North America (U.S & Canada). This role is the owner of Chemtrade relationships at existing accounts and responsible for developing and acquiring new accounts. The role is focused on “top and bottom-line growth”. This position is best suited for someone who has knowledge and experience with sales, marketing, and/or business development in the semiconductor industry. The role will report to and work hand-in-hand with the existing Ultra Pure acid business director who manages overall strategy for the business.

What You Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline is required. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of account management or business development in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of growing new and existing businesses.
  • Consultative and solution-based selling experience
  • You know how to leverage the power of an efficient CRM.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You are a collaborative team player that desires to be part of a thriving organization.
  • Strong emotional quotient to balance development opportunities with existing business teams.
  • A self-motivated, self-driven individual who can work independently to achieve desired growth objectives.
  • Willingness to travel (60%) up to a full week stay for support visits to manufacturing sites, attendance at professional development seminars or training, or other travel as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing accounts (relationship, pricing, rebates, etc.)
  • Develop key account plans
  • Research and develop market intelligence
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Achieve new growth by securing new acquisition accounts
  • Develops strategies aligned with business team to increase profitable growth and achieve revenue and margin expansion by bringing in new customers.
  • Collaborate with business team to effectively manage assigned accounts and positions for continued growth and retention
  • Grow new accounts to identify/develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Consistently position Chemtrade as the industry leader and best solution provider
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor for new accounts through a consultative sales approach supported by industry knowledge.
  • Facilitate effective new customer communication, including formal presentations, conversations, active listening, and follow-up
  • Determine the appropriate strategies for new accounts with the business teams to maximize the growth and profitability of our service(s) and new initiatives
Reports to: Business Director, Ultra Pure Acid
This position is being offered as a remote, home based role across US or Canada


Salary Range:
$110,000 - $170,000

The US base salary range for this position is $110,000- $170,000 + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in the US roles postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives.
