Pay: Bi-weekly draw against commision, base salary of $54,000 earn up to $150,000 per year in commissions.


DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for developing new group, transient business, catering and membership opportunities as well as maintaining existing relationships with clients at Spokane Club. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for Total Account Management of accounts and business in Spokane Club portfolio. Organization and communication are vital skills that will be necessary in this role . As a Business Development Manager you will conduct site tours, prospective sales appointments, revenue generating initiatives and attend industry events on behalf of the club. Our generous commision structure ensures you are rewarded for driving sales.

What you can help us do: Drive group, catering and transient sales through prospecting, solution-based sales, and client retention.

Your every day:

  • Prospect and develop new group, catering and transient business opportunities through proactive selling initiatives
  • Maintain existing business relationships with group, catering and transient clients and seek repeat opportunities
  • Conduct sales presentations to new and existing clients to develop new group, catering and transient business opportunities
  • Communicate and drive Spokane Club promotions and marketing campaigns developed by the company’s Marketing department.
  • Achieve quarterly production goals in accordance with annual budget and annual booking quota
  • Respond to all inquiries within a 24-hour window
  • Effectively communicate client expectations, plans, and needs to all departments
  • Negotiate group contract terms in a timely manner in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Attend weekly business review meeting and complete pricing evaluation forms
  • Complete assigned projects from the General Manager
  • Organize prospect files by listing information, such as names of officials and plans for conventions, to be used for promotional purposes
  • Complete the assigned minimum sales calls per week with existing and prospective clients, including outside, telemarketing, In-house site inspections, and client entertainment and log in the CRM system

Compensation

$54,000-$150,000

Earned commission. You will earn the reflected commission percentage for the following transactions:

1. 2.5% commission on Transient Booking or first-time corporate hotel room bookings.

2. 5% commission on Direct Group Business unless the booking qualifies as a repeat corporate account.

3. 10% commission on all Repeat Hotel Business through Corporate Accounts.

4. 1% commission on all catering business (Food & Beverage Revenue only) that is directly related to your leads or Sales Activity from non-members.

5. $50 per full membership sign up that is directly related to Your leads or Sales Activity

Benefits
Full-time employees and, optionally for additional cost, their families are able to enroll for coverage by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan after one year.
Full-time employees will also accrue vacation based on hours work to a maximum of ten days per year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of related work experience preferred
  • Successful track record of coordinating projects and meeting deadlines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and computers in general
  • Ability to analyze STR reports
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Time management skills are an absolute necessity
  • Able to direct group towards mutual commitments, goals, and objectives.
  • High levels of professionalism required.
