Commercial/Contract Furniture Sales for Authorized MillerKnoll Dealer
The Samuels Group is seeking a full-time experienced, self-driven outside salesperson to join our amazing team. The successful candidate must be organized, detailed-oriented and have a successful record of developing and retaining long-term customer relationships. Ideal for someone with a passion for space design or currently selling furniture, flooring, lighting, wall coverings, or interior architectural products to commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop territory plan to obtain new relationships and retention of existing clients in the commercial, manufacturing, education, city/county government and healthcare community that result in project revenue.
- Collaborate with local contractors, A+D firms, furniture manufacturer reps, etc. to assist with territory growth and development efforts.
- Excellent networking skills, follow-through, and the ability to ask probing questions that uncover new opportunities for the company
- High degree of resilience for difficult competitive situations and the ability to describe differentiators that secure projects
- Ability to listen and ask questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your client’s needs and articulate project scope with internal team.
- Capable of measuring and gathering necessary data for projects and entering information into CRM.
- Collaborates with furniture interior design team to create optimal furniture layouts that align with client’s needs and budget.
- Understands the importance of internal processes to keep projects moving forward efficiently. Stays responsive to daily internal/external requests for project information.
- Maintain a high sense of urgency, both while pursuing leads and within projects
- Ensures client satisfaction is achieved throughout every step of the project and beyond
Requirements
- We are seeking a representative with at least 5 years of contract office furniture sales and/or interior design experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field
- Ideal for someone with experience in selling furniture, flooring, lighting, wall coverings, or interior architectural products.
- Proficiency in Windows based applications and CRM software
- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
