Business Development Manager – The Dahs Team at Rapid Mortgage

Our perfect candidate will market primarily to realtor partners on behalf of Scott Dahs' team and cultivate referral relationships. Act as a primary point of contact for any questions regarding the partnership. Maintain relationships with realtors, by thanking agents for referrals, send Thank You notes on behalf of Scott, set up and attend functions on Scott's behalf, lunches, happy hours, parties, etc.

This opportunity is based out of the Westerville office, focused on the developing business in the central Ohio market. This role is a hybrid location role that will include being in the office, in the field as well as working from home.

Top Job Duties:

  • Focus on connecting with top producing Realtors and other referral partners, building trust for them to refer loans to Scott's team.
  • Create opportunities for Scott to meet with Realtors and other strategic referral partners through events, coffee appointments, lunches, happy hours.
  • Plan events for Scott with strategic Realtor and other Partners.
  • Manage marketing campaigns in Salesforce CRM, help set up a plan for Scott to connect with each partner.
  • Spend at least 75% of time each week networking.
  • Extreme follow up and organization required. Must embrace complete use of CRM to follow and document the Daily Success Plan.

Loan Level Responsibilities:

  • No responsibility to ever take an app, collect documents, issue pre-approvals, etc. All of that is handled by the Loan Officer Assistant.
  • Call and thank referral partners after new referrals come in daily.
  • Coordinate with Loan Coordinator to ensure we schedule an appointment with listing agent on every purchase loan contract that results from SPM relationships. This is intended to solidify the relationship and create new ones with listing agent.

Daily Success Plan:

  • Daily phone calls primarily to realtors as well as other strategic referral sources (attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, etc.)
  • Daily handwritten personal notes to referral partners
  • Thank you, Thinking of you, Congratulations, Birthday cards, etc.
  • Face-to-face meetings with referral partners
  • Weekly “Just Ask” calls
  • Set up Realtor classes, presentations, etc. for Scott to present
  • Database management
  • Drop-In Sales Calls

Marketing/Social Media Campaigns Including:

  • Regular social media engagement
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).
  • Regularly meet with marketing manager for new marketing and engagement strategies.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
  • Become an advocate for Scott in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
