Position Description:

We are creating a new role to help accelerate the technology development for the business. As such, this is a great position for a Business Analyst/Project Manager that has a mastery of project management and wants the challenge of applying these principles in a traditional healthcare business.

The BA-PM is a software-centric role that bridges the gap between technology and business stake holders to assess technology needs that can be help the business succeed. The BA-PM will work with all functionals of the business to capture needs, problems, and requirements. This information will be compiled into technical specifications that can be used by development (internal and external) for the program development, launch programs and manage enhancements of our technical products. The BA-PM is also critical in managing all technical projects and tracking all progress, support the development teams, communicating to all stakeholders and ensuring the projects are completed on-schedule and on-budget.

This position is critical in determining what technology projects are best suited for the business by assessing the ROI and key impacts to the business. This position is responsible for listening to the users and capturing their need and wants so products can be enhanced.

Position Duties:

  • Understand the business operations and how technology and data integrate for business functions
  • Analyze and document current technology-related procedures and provide recommendations to help optimize & maximize outcomes
  • Determine operational objectives by studying existing business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams and writing technical spec documents for custom applications
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning to support various departments and programs
  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections to support strategic decision-making
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly reviews and of current processes and projects using operational metrics and reports
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support recommendations
  • Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting of relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Work with IT and implementation teams to define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Lead the prioritization of activities for the development team and communicate expectations to all stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work independently with a diverse development team in a business that is focused on providing Healthcare to our patients. This is a not a technology first business, so this role requires the ability to adapt to the environment and implement processes and procedures for our development needs.

Maintain focus and flexibility with internal and external resources by operating as a clear communicator, active listener, and problem-solver. Create requirements specifications, analyze strategies, create visual models, facilitate elicitation sessions using modern business analyst and project management tools. Use all available resources to work through challenges while adapting to rapid changes in a growth-focused business environment. Create alignment, clarity, and ownership around solutions.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree • 2-4 years’ work experience
  • Fluency in Business Analyst & Project Management tools
  • Direct experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes
  • Strong analytical, organization, interpersonal, communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Position Miscellaneous:

Position is in-house (after 90-days remote possibility), salary, with minimal travel requirements. Normal business hours with flexibility to match stakeholder schedules. Regular interactions with C-suite executives and Directors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $1.00 per year
