Business Analyst, Consumer Platforms
ASICS Digital is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help drive the implementation and enhancement of Consumer Platforms technology across the ASICS brands globally. Based in Boston, Massachusetts. Specifically, this person will drive documentation of solutions for the consumer platforms technology-related initiatives across the globe. This role is vital to the successful integration of the ASICS brand and cutting-edge digital products. We find innovative solutions that affect large-scale change across an industry-leading global footwear brand. This individual ensures that we are delivering scalable and elegant capabilities and experiences that maximize business value and enable our business and category partners deliver end-to-end experiences.
The role falls under ASICS Digital and will report into the Senior Director of Product Management in Boston, Massachusetts. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external regional stakeholders, and vendors to effectively plan, solution, and deliver scalable experiences that strengthen customer relationships and lifetime value for our customers.
As a Digital Solutions member on the Consumer Platforms team, your goal is to work with business and technology stakeholders to define projects and enhancements to increase the usage, scale and integrity of our core digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work across product areas to discover and validate ideas for digital capabilities that meet customer needs, enhance consumer platforms technology, deliver against financial goals and connect ASICS enterprise applications.
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.
- Document solutions including requirements, features & functionality, use cases, etc, partnering with Product Management and User Experience for prioritization and visual documentation.
- Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval.
- Build strong relationships within the business units and partners to understand the business needs.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise, ensure that out of the box functionality is leveraged and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Update and maintain documentation as feature and function sets evolve.
- Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business lead and project management to obtain user acceptance test signoff.
Requirements:
- 5 years of proven experience in an analyst, technology, or product owner role passionate about digital solutions and developer experience.
- Fundamental understanding of the technical architecture of web and mobile applications, and may have direct experience with developer tooling, APIs, SDKs, and app ecosystems.
- Familiarity with test automation, integration testing, web and mobile testing tools and practices to deliver quality software in every release.
- Experience driving product execution and delivery on cross-functional projects involving business, design, and technology teams.
- Proven organizational effectiveness, being able and willing to coordinate with multiple decision-makers across business lines to achieve outcomes.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of products.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with the Salesforce enterprise ecosystem.
- A strong working understanding of APIs and services-based architecture.
