Reliant’s Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on various functioning areas throughout the company. These areas include, but are not limited to, revenue and work-flow modeling, recovery rate analytics, variance analysis, management reporting, process automation, and other functions as needed. This is a full time, exempt position that reports directly to the MIS Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create a detailed business analysis which outlines problems, opportunities, and solutions for Reliant Capital Solutions
  • Assist in setting up and establishing SQL server development
  • Track and maintain weekly, monthly, and yearly reports indicating business needs and requirements
  • Present business reports to senior management and make suggestions on projects to increase productivity and performance
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting account information; establishing entry priorities
  • Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
  • Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output
  • Facilitates and executes efforts related to SQL database changes and modifications
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating reports, queries, and workflows
  • Provide expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental procedures to streamline processes
  • Maintain, report, and update advanced analytics to reduce asset recovery costs
  • Assist and support overall responsibilities within the Business Analytics group
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required
  • ARM industry experience preferred
  • 3+ years of Business analytics experience
  • Three (3) years SQL development experience and knowledge of SSMS.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Statistic and data mining knowledge
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
