Position Summary:
The business analyst is responsible with aligning Hydro’s organizational initiatives & objectives by developing and deploying business intelligence solutions. The business analyst will manage reporting and process improvement projects. The role will be responsible for working cross-functionally within the organization to drive enhanced reporting for all departments; specifically with Sales and Product Management teams. Will report to the Finance Director and will assist with optimization of key performance indicators and data availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:

  • Work cross-functionally to identify business data analysis needs and develop solutions.
  • Analyzes Oracle master data and determines functionality options to improve and standardize customer data.
  • Design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights and reports for all functions of the business.
  • Creates dashboards and visual interactive reports within all applicable systems.
  • Develop and deploy tools to drive improved metrics and accountability within Hydro team
  • Establishes project pipeline and timing expectations for assigned projects.
  • Collaborates with local management, IT business analyst, and PSG Digital Transformation team to identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Leads meetings at all levels of the organization related to assigned projects.
  • Designs, develops, and deploys Power BI scripts.
  • Manage project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned projects.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for the management of all master data.
  • Optimize data availability and organization within company systems.
  • Identify KPIs with clear objectives and continuously monitor progress.
  • Automate standard, monthly reports out to departmental leads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required.
  • Power BI experience is required.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and report writing experience.
  • Experience with building automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, including MS SQL Server BI Stack.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written English at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
