We are looking for a professional to provide Inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions. As a Buffet Ambassador in our breakfast restaurant, you will act as a front-line ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine inspired by our diverse culture and island home. Your attention to detail, sense of urgency and knowledge of our outstanding Food & Beverage offerings makes guests of our restaurants feel unique and valued.

What you will be doing:
- Check buffet stations for necessary equipment and set up: ice, dishes, and utensils; replenish buffet as needed
- Assist guest regarding buffet items in an informative and helpful way.
- Have full knowledge of all buffet items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
- Expedite all food orders from kitchen to restaurant area, following standards of presentation
- Transport used china, silverware and utensils to kitchen dishwashing area.
- Maintain and clean dining area, kitchen and service areas to include taking out garbage and clearing dish cart
- Keep buffet room, chairs, aisles and floors clean of debris
- Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our buffet exceeds expectations
- Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions
- Adhere to the State of Hawaii & EcoSure food handling safety standards
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
Your experience and skills include:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training is an asset
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage is an asset
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment desirable
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training is an asset
Certifications required:
- Tuberculosis Clearance
- Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification
