Budtender - Full Time

Requirements:

-Must be a Colorado resident with an MED occupational badge and enthusiastic attitude toward sales and customer service in the Cannabis industry.

-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred -Experience in retail, customer service or sales environment preferred

-Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

-Maintain hygiene (including appropriate facial hair grooming and well kempt fingernail cleanliness).

-Willingness to provide coverage/work extended shifts, nights, and weekends.

-Must be willing to work in a cohesive team environment

-Basic knowledge of cannabis weights and strains/product categories.

Duties:

-Remain up to date on current state regulations/laws/practices.

-Display transparency and trustworthiness in safe cash and product handling.

-Communicate effectively and appropriately with each customer.

-Compliantly serve cannabis and infused products to 21+ customers with a valid form of identification (Each individuals' ID must be checked on entry as well as at the point of sale).

-Recommend relevant products to customers based on wants/needs.

-Accurately translate pricing structure to customers and ensure proper usage of product discounts.

-Properly weigh/package cannabis or infused products and process cash/transactions accurately.

-Participate in daily upkeep duties (shop cleanliness/compliance).

-Communicate product needs to management as needed for customer availability and shelf display merchandising.

-Remain up to date on current promotions.

-Answer phones and concisely provide information to customers (pricing, products, usage, general education, etc.).

-Remain alert to security issues and endorse situational awareness practices.

-Participate in continuing education courses provided by The Green Joint (product and sales training).
