Our High Net Private Client team in Bedford Hills,NY would like to mentor a new Broker Placement Specialist. You will learn how to market our private client business to a variety of insurance carriers to obtain the best policies with the ideal coverages for our customer. If you have a curiosity about the insurance industry we should talk! You will be partnered with an experienced Specialist to help guide your entry into the market and help you grow within Gallagher.
Responsibilities:
As a Broker Placement Specialist you will receive and process requests for quotations from account personnel.
You will assist in identifying and analyzing client exposures to recommend and/or design risk transfer/financing products.
You will send requests to a standard group of insurance carriers, receive quotes and prepare reports summarizing results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, no related experience required
Desire to obtain Insurance licenses.
Work Traits: Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
