We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge Inspection Manager to support our Southeast Region located in Tampa, FL.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the Florida Region Bridge Inspection Group including:
- Topside Project Manager, Underwater Project Manager, Office PE and PA’s, and all staffing levels within the Bridge inspection group
- This position will oversee and be responsible for the hiring of all levels within the group
- Responsible for overall operations (topside and underwater) billing, metrics, revenue, and net income goals
- Responsible for overall marketing (topside and underwater) strategies, prepositioning, client meetings, teaming, and pursuits as well as the groups marketing goal
- Responsible for project management and report reviews
- Emergency response management (such as Hurricanes) and on-site emergency response (such as a bridge hit)
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in bridge inspections with a min. of 1-year service as a qualified NBIS Team Leader
- NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course with Refresher Training within the last 5 years
- Possess a strong working knowledge of NBIS and have advanced writing and communication skills
- 50% In-State travel required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- NHI Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges and Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures Courses preferred but not required
