Position
Summary: The Brand Marketing Manager sits at intersection of all internal cross-functional teams to drive the brand and product marketing strategy forward. Looking for a highly cross functional creative, out of the box thinker with a proven track record in marketing strategy, campaign & event execution, and brand & product storytelling. The Brand Marketing manager will work in partnership with the Sr Manager of Brand to create and execute innovative and cost effective 360-degree brand marketing strategies and plans for Benefit Cosmetics in the US.
Integrated/360* Marketing Strategy:
- Partner with the Sr Manager of Brand to develop and execute the US integrated/brand 360 marketing strategy & brand activation plans to support business priorities.
- Bring to life the DNA of the brand in fun, disruptive, innovative ways, keeping it consistent across all touchpoints.
- Ideate, create, and execute culturally relevant and targeted campaigns that complement global campaigns.
- Work cross functionally with creative, social, influencer and retail teams to develop brand & product marketing strategies and components for multi-faceted 360 marketing plans and present recommendations for leadership.
- Provide ideas and recommendations on new launch & core product focuses, based on strategic & consumer insights, activation tactics, and ROI results.
- Meet budget guidelines while achieving the highest ROI for programming.
Brand Activations/Events & Partnerships:
- Provide ideas and recommendations in developing a social forward and culturally relevant brand activation and partnership strategy.
- Responsible for ideating, project-managing, creatively executing innovative influencer sends and events/trips (virtual or in person) to garner EMV and reach new audiences.
- Develop event run-of-show and programs that enhances owned & earned social content creation while maximizing EMV throughout the year in partnership with the influencer team.
- Ideate, forge, and execute brand partnerships that expands Benefit’s reach to new customers, while maintaining aspirational brand imagery, including but not limited to sample boxes, licensing, and consumer activations.
- Oversee branded elements in and out of store, including but not limited to pop-up shops, trade shows, conferences, etc.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience across marketing and brand
- Experience working with cross-functional teams successfully, with a proven track record of production & event management experience.
- Passion for brand strategy and storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Sees projects to their completion & meets deadlines.
- Must be enthusiastic, motivated, responsible & have a sense of humor.
- Passion & knowledge of the beauty space a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and especially strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Asana, Google Docs, and Adobe Creative Suite
