About the role:
The Brand Marketer will be responsible the planning and execution of for the brands professional education activities including leading the Pro Ed strategy, annual planning process, key congresses and patient conferences including commercial sponsorships, exhibits, advisory boards, and KOL engagement activities. Responsible for managing and partner with agencies and third-party vendor(s) representing congress associations, brand agencies and internal partners. reporting into the US Marketing Head for LSD Franchise.
For key brand congress and patient conferences, will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution. This includes the design and implementation of the booth along with associated materials, managing the budget, managing the agencies, collaborating with the cross functional partners, external vendors as well as the internal review process for commercial assets and messaging (PRT process)
For Commercial sponsorships and exhibits: will be responsible for overseeing the compliant execution, process management and administration for the electronic approval system supporting Sponsorship and Exhibit requests for all national and local field congresses conferences. The position requires oversight for activities such as coordinating training, partnering with key business stakeholders and the third party service provider(s) on approvals and documentation. This individual's responsibility will serve as a key point of contact and compliance resource for stakeholders across the commercial organization within the LSD.
For KOL development activities: will be responsible for the strategy, annual planning, and execution of all commercial US Key Opinion leaders, including LSD speaker programing and bureau management, advisory board strategy and execution as well as consultancies throughout the fiscal year.
How you will contribute:
80% Brand Professional Education activities and Business Process Excellence and
- Lead and manage brand professional education tactics and materials related to conferences and prioritized congresses, including development of the booth and materials through the PRT process
- Manage and lead brand professional education activities for all national, regional and local conferences, KOL relationships and speaker programming
- Lead and collaborate with brand team on the annual planning process with responsibility for the conferences and congress aspects of the annual plan
- Lead and partner with brand leads on KOL activities; including content development, advisory boards and education programs
- Manage agencies and vendors related to conferences and congresses from planning process to tactical implementation
- Oversee the Sponsorships process, Professional education tactics related to congresses and conferences; and systems to ensure they are executed and operated in compliance with all relevant guidelines and with high quality.
- Ensure end-users are properly trained on system functionality and process-related requirements, through delivery of training sessions and serve as an operational subject matter expert to address questions, provide advice and/or recommendations.
- Conduct reviews of transactions to ensure that the required documents are submitted, approvals are completed correctly, and exceptions are followed-up on and resolved, and activities are archived.
20% Business Systems Management (related to commercial sponsorship activities)
- Ensure end users (field sales) are properly trained on system's functionality and process-related requirements, through delivery of formal hands-on training sessions
- Serve as a subject matter expert to address questions, provide advice and conduct ad-hoc training
- Continuously monitor transactions to ensure reviewers and approvers are appropriate, documents are reviewed on a timely basis, approvals are appropriately stamped, and exceptions are followed-up on and resolved, and activities are archived
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelors Degree is required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of work experience required
- Prior pharmaceutical experience is required
Desired
- Prior marketing or commercial experience preferred but not required
- Prior operational processes, system administration and IT experience
- Strong consulting skills, listening skills, problem definition, scenario planning, data analysis, and translation of business requirements into actionable capabilities.

- Some domestic and global travel (<20%) including nights and weekends.
