Summary:

As a Brake Press Operator, the associate is responsible for setup, loading and operating the brake press machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

• Brake Press Operator must enter data into the computerized control per the job order packet on the Finn Power machine to transfer a cassette of sheet metal from the bay area.
• Brake Press Operator must be able to transfer sheet metal to mobile table.
• Brake Press Operator must be able to set-up brake press by manually loading required tools per part specifications.
• Brake Press Operator must be able to move and manipulate sheet metal in the brake press.
• Brake Press Operator must be able to utilize hand tools to debur parts.
• Brake Press Operator must be able to place parts on mobile carts and transfer to the assembly area.
• Brake Press Operator must maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

• Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.

• On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required.
