Tuffy’s Treat Company is seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to join our team. This a reliability focused position aimed at maximizing overall equipment effectiveness through the application of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.

As a multi-skilled, cross-functional team member, you will ensure reliable operation of both facility and production assets with a primary focus on Boiler, HVAC, Compressed Air and Waste Water Treatment systems. Positions open on 1st (6:00 am to 3:00pm) 2nd (2:45 pm to 11:45 pm) and 3rd (10:45 pm to 7:30 am) shifts. **Boiler Operator on 3rd shift starts at 8:45 pm on Sunday**

Primary Job Duties

• Monitor, maintain and ensure safe and reliable operation of three high-pressure boilers, boiler plant equipment, facility HVAC equipment, waste water treatment and plant compressed air system.
• Perform required water quality and chemistry testing for the plant boilers and waste water treatment system. Ensure state and federal regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plant and facility wide equipment including electrical and mechanical assets.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• State of Minnesota 2nd Class B Boiler Operator’s license; mid and night shifts.
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, technical manuals, electrical and electronic schematics; troubleshoot; perform applicable mathematic calculations; use applicable software applications and operating systems; manage time; use various electronic testing equipment; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships peers, customers and vendors; work independently and in a team environment.
• Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Commercial/industrial HVAC systems, industrial waste water treatment systems, compressed air systems, food manufacturing, GMP practices, Johnson Controls and Allen Bradley software.

Pay: From $31.80 per hour
