American Yacht Management is looking to hire several full-time, part-time and freelance work for the following positions: Captains, Mates, Stewardesses, dockhands, service crew, engineers and managers. American Yacht Management offers services for all yachting needs by providing, managing and/or overseeing necessary services needed as well as managing a heavy charter program with boats and yachts of all sizes. We are looking for individuals with a burning passion for the water, phenomenal work ethic, fantastic people skills and motivated individuals who take great pride in their work and present themselves professionally.

Positions and job duty descriptions are as followed but not limited to: The safe navigation and well-being of a vessel under command or crew; Constantly monitoring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew onboard at all times and taking proper action to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew onboard ensuring a safe environment at all times; Ensuring the vessel and work place is clean and tidy at all times including wash-down, interior cleaning, Trash removal, organization and more; Repairs, Services and maintenance of all kinds pertaining to individuals experience and skill set; Maintain a respectable level of hospitality and customer services under any circumstances with any passengers, clients, crew, co-workers and/or management as you will be representing American Yacht Management; Complete reports accurately in a timely manner required by management.

Positions and work days will require early mornings, late nights and long days under the sun. Individuals must be willing and able to work long days under pressure in the heat for long periods of time. A passport is a plus as we do ask crew to travel to and from the Bahamas and other parts of the world from time to time. Individual must have a reliable means of transportation and be punctual on time.

Most positions offered will require experience and certain credentials but also welcome and are happy to train individuals new to the industry who are eager to pursue a career in the yachting industry offering incentives of all kinds for those who show key attributes in their work ethic.
