We here at Paw Oasis are looking to hire Kennel Technician Leads (supervisors) with at least 1 year or prior experience working for a dog daycare and boarding center. Hours Needed for Availability: Monday-Sunday 6:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-7:00pm

About Us: Paw Oasis Pet Resort is a luxury dog boarding and doggy daycare center and that just opened a new location in The Colony about a year ago. This location is brand new including 30,000 sq feet beautiful new dog turf, over 100 luxury boarding accommodations, and a fancy bone shaped pool just for the dogs! If you love animals and are willing to work hard and commit to providing excellent customer service to our guests and their owners. We are hiring one Lead for our Castle Hills location!
Shifts vary between 4-6 hours and some days you may be asked to work two shifts with a one and a half hour lunch in between. (The first shift runs from 6:30-12:30pm and second shift is from 1:30-7:00pm; the ideal candidate has the availability to work either shift.) Must be open to working all holidays and weekends as those are our busy times.
Daily tasks include:
-Opening or closing facility without supervision providing oversight and delegation to kennel staff caring for pets
-Providing supervision and guidance to our daycare staff in yards with their play groups for up to 15 -25 dogs per person
-Facilitating & leading our staff in daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering mediation, taking out for walks and potty breaks, among other tasks).
-Cross Trained to work the Front Desk Receptionist position as needed.
-Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs.
-Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility.
-Minimizing the stress of the dogs and staff by providing effective leadership and being responsive to their needs.
-Maintaining accurate records and activity logs for care provided.
-Working as a member of a team in a fast paced environment by using effective communication skills.

This position is ideal for someone with a love for dogs and a desire to work in a fun, fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate:
-has 1+ years experience in dog daycare, boarding facility and training and bathing dogs
-supervisory experience of 1+ years in boarding & daycare or vet
-is a high school graduate (or has their GED).
-has excellent written and oral communication skills.
-is self-motivated and can work independently.
-has a proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things.
-takes initiative on the job.
-has open availability, can work weekdays, weekends and holidays
-is able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be on ones feet for long periods of time.
-has 2 years previous work experience demonstrating dependability.
