What you’ll do
Reporting to the BIS Regional & Account Based Marketing Leader for the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions (BIS) operating company, the Regional & Account Based Marketing Manager will lead all aspects of marketing demand generation and will be responsible for developing the account-based marketing strategy for the Americas region.
This role is an individual contributor position. For successful Associates, this role has runway to leadership opportunities across Cytiva’s marketing organization and the Biotechnology Group more broadly.
Regional marketing – LAND NEW ACCOUNTS
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan focused on landing new accounts while ensuring alignment with the global product/service marketing plans for the operating company.
- Generate funnel addition and funnel acceleration tactics including planning of seminars, webinars, and local trade shows aligned with global plan while driving new product launch success.
- Nurture and qualify leads that have come as a result of field activities; follow up on funnel progression with sales to drive funnel wins and higher conversion rates.
- Monitor the success of regional marketing activities via KPI & bowler based daily management.
- Provide regional market intelligence to help inform BIS OpCo strategy and BIS global marketing strategy.
- Utilize data driven approach to identify future marketing actions within the Americas region with a focus first on customer needs as identified through regional VOC.
Account based marketing – EXPAND EXISTING ACCOUNTS
- Create criteria for account based marketing selection and identify target set of accounts to prioritize based on criteria.
- Develop marketing plan for generating demand and engagement within an account including account specific marketing programs, events and content
- Develop standard work & playbook for scaling process to all target strategic accounts.
- Create and/or refine lead management flow and hand-offs between marketing and sales specific to the account based marketing program (including establish/refine SQL definitions, lead qualification/management standard work and followup standard work).
- Monitor the success of account based marketing activities via KPI & bowler based daily management.
- Provide account intelligence to help inform BIS OpCo strategy and BIS global marketing strategy.
- Utilize data driven approach to identify future marketing actions for strategic accounts with a focus first on customer needs as identified through regional VOC.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree; MBA, Master's or PhD degree a plus.
- Desired minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Marketing discipline.
- Desired minimum of five (5) years’ of management experience.
- Experience in a marketing or sales focused role in the Life Sciences Industry.
- Experience developing strategic plans for a marketing organization and/or managing marketing projects (e.g., account based marketing, content development, campaigns, events, etc) with knowledge of the marketing funnel and sale process.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and project management skills with proven ability to drive and manage initiatives in a matrixed environment (empowering others to lead).
- Strong business acumen, financial, organizational and relationship building skills.
- Clear/strategic thinker with ability to build and successfully execute a strategic plan of action.
