Purpose of Position: Ensures the efficient use of clinical equipment within the hospital by performing safety checks, repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to patient monitors, EEG machines, EKG machines, OR monitors, electrosurgical units, defribrilators, transport incubators and numerous other clinical instruments. Performs safety inspections of incoming equipment. Provides assistance to nurses, technicians, and users of clinical equipment in case of technical and/or operational problems.Experience: A minimum of four years experience in the repair of medical equipment is preferred. Electrician with electronic knowledge and experience in medical equipment repairs is required. Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills. Input data into computer programs. Answer telephones,Compose letters, Coordinate meetings.
