Overview:
Saratoga Medical has an immediate opening for a Biochemist (Level 3) at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Perform research activities in a laboratory environment
- Work with the Antiviral Program for Pandemics to identify and develop anti-virals
- Develop research plans for new projects, including strategies for primary and secondary screens and advanced characterization
- Tissue culture, passaging, and plating and cell line engineering to create cell-based reporter assays
- Must have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology
- Must have a minimum of three years of experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong at maintaining accurate and detailed records of laboratory experiments
