Overview:
The Billing Specialist will perform routine professional billing work and encountering some difficult situations requiring investigation and/or reconciliations. Work includes the billing, analysis, and maintenance of the receivables.
Hourly wage $23/hour.

The Billing Specialist will perform routine professional billing work and encountering some difficult situations requiring investigation and/or reconciliations. Work includes the billing, analysis, and maintenance of the receivables.
Hourly wage $23/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Transdev’s supplemental service providers to reconcile and process invoices for services rendered.
- Verify invoices rates against contractual agreements.
- Completing trip edit functions to ensure that trips performed are tracked using Transdev trip management software.
- Submitting trip performance data to Transdev’s clients and senior leadership.
- Assist in other clerical duties as assigned.
- Verifying compiled data from vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and revising billing data when errors are found .
- Creating billing documents.
- Resolving discrepancies on accounting records.
- Answering mail and telephone inquiries regarding rates, routing, and procedures.
- Sorting and filing correspondence and performing miscellaneous clerical duties.
- High School diploma, or GED required.
- Two (2) to (10) ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
- Must be a “self-starter” with strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize.
- Ability to organize and administer several tasks simultaneously.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work on-site in an office environment.
- Work onsite at office location in Portland, Oregon
Successful candidates will be required to pass a mandatory drug test and a criminal background check.
