The Billing Specialist I will review system billing rejects for assigned client accounts to ensure the accuracy of invoice billing per client specific requirements. Research duplicates, parts and pricing, POP’s, recalibration backup other rejects that are created by the edits to ensure we are billing according to client guidelines. This is the first level of a three-level career development. With time and experience the work assignments could enable incumbents to obtain the experience required for advancement to Billing Specialist II.
What You'll Do:
  • Executes the billing and/or network invoices for customers and non-Safelite customers to ensure costs and pricing for parts is accurate; researches and resolves any errors detected while ensuring compliance with insurance standards & company policies and procedures.
  • Responds to basic & common billing questions and issues after researching and determining the appropriate resolution; escalates more complex situations to Billing Specialist II, Senior Biller and/or Management.
  • Identify and communicate to department leadership any discovered system problems, trends or repetitive issues with assigned clients when these occur.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
