Billing Coordinator Job at LSS of South Dakota
LSS is looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our small team of compassionate and talented individuals. LSS provides the opportunity to work with a variety of new payers, vendors, and be a valued member of our statewide mission to care for, support and strengthen individuals, families, and communities in South Dakota.
SERVICE: Administration
HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (No evenings or weekends!)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include billing of behavioral health and substance use services to various funding sources; managing outstanding claims and billing inquiries by following up with pay sources and clients; posting agency payments and processing monthly statements; generating agency reports as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years’ experience or Associate degree in Business, Accounting or Healthcare Administration. Experience with health insurance and EOB’s preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn various software programs.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
SALARY: $16 - $18 per hour; Dependent on experience and qualifications.
