Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Billing Collections Specialist to join our team! The Billing Collections Specialist is responsible for the billing and collection of private pay/self pay balances for assigned senior living facilities. Responsibilities:

• Monitors, assists, and follows through on all Private Pay accounts issuing phone calls or letters as necessary.
• Researching information on property or estates to assist in Collection procedures.
• Assist in obtaining all necessary information to forward accounts to our attorney for collection.
• Maintain accurate resident accounts for private residents.
• Collect delinquent accounts as necessary.
• Research and solve payment discrepancies.
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and organized files for all accounts receivable records to assure prompt retrieval.
• Submit appropriate statement to private paying entities.

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalency diploma required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Medical billing experience and knowledge of collections preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
