We currently have an opening for a Billing Clerk. This position is responsible for creating invoices to customers, fielding phone calls and questions from customers and the sales team regarding their accounts. The candidate will fill a variety of needs within the material billing process such as: scanning documents, indexing, data entry, reconciliation and billing variances resolution. The candidate will be expected to set and consistently achieve a high standard of data processing production both in volume and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve any billing variances, submit invoices to customers through various methods such as mail and e-mail. Support sales team with questions on invoices and job reviews. Run reports from the system to manage the billing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in related field and or previous accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Candidate needs to be able to self-monitor and be comfortable working in a team or alone.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Good communication skills both writing and verbal.
• Demonstrate innovative and high-level thinking skills to improve processes.
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft applications. Viewpoint experience is a plus.
• Ability to identify and solve complex work-related issues with computer software.
• Ability to communicate and maintain sensitive customer relationships
• Driven to succeed daily performance targets.
