Bilingual Spanish Medical Office Assistant opportunity in Montebello. Great specialty group with lots of perks and employee appreciation.

Mon to Thurs 6:00am to 4:30pm, no Fridays or weekends (First 2 weeks of training start time is 5:30am)

Pay Rate: $19 - $21 DOE , Fully paid medical, dental, and vision paid in 60 days

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensures efficient patient flow throughout the check-in/check-out process by greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying all insurances, processing referrals, obtaining authorizations, scanning new patient information forms, scheduling surgeries, preparing medical/financial charts, and entering patient data.

• Informs patients of the cost of service and collects monies from patients, including co-pays, deductibles, retail prices, and cosmetic procedures.
• Requires good listening, interpersonal and communication skills, professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, changing priorities in an effective and organized manner, and must be detail-oriented.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.
• Opens and closes reception and patient check-in area.
• Practices HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Maintains a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

Requirements

• Bilingual, Spanish is a MUST
• Medical Assistant cert or diploma or CNA
• 2+ years of experience in a medical professional's office is preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Exceptional customer service & organizational skills
