Myticas's direct client based out of Chicago, IL is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager for an ONSITE contract position.
Job Description:
The BTS (IT) Project Manager will provide technical project management and business program management for key strategic initiatives supporting the brand team. This role will work closely with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to establish project plans which considers critical tasks, durations and dependencies. The Project Manager is expected to be autonomous in management of meetings, solicitation of agendas, distribution of meeting minutes, tracking completion of action items and regular updates on project status.
- Develop, execute and manage the program within the defined scope.
- Manage a multitude of interrelated projects within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the program.
- Partner with business sponsors/key stakeholders to confirm program success criteria.
- Responsible for the overall program delivery consisting of large concurrent projects which are managed by multiple project managers.
- Establish and ensure transparent reporting of program status, issues, risks, and financials.
- Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in managing projects
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment.
- Minimum 5 years combined experience
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results
- Proven Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are required
Preferred Experience:
- PgMP/PMP Certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments with minimal oversight
- Experience working in Pharma/Life Science or similar industries
- Experience working in Commercial / Marketing
- Experience working in and with Technology Teams and products
