Bully Pulpit is a nationally acclaimed 18-hole, par 72 daily fee golf course designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan. We are located on the I-94 corridor in the Scenic and historic Badlands of North Dakota along the Little Missouri River, just 3 miles south of Historic Medora, ND. The golf course measures 7,166 yards from the Championship tees, but has four other sets to choose from.
Summary/Objective
As a member of the Bully Pulpit Golf Course team, our Beverage Cart Attendant will build relationships with our guests and ensure that service excellence is met through attentive, heartfelt service. The ideal Beverage Cart Attendant will enjoy working with people and have a genuine spirt for servicing guests in a warm and helpful manner that exceeds expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing golfers with food, beverages and snacks on the golf course.
• Observes safety regulations and state laws regarding vehicle operation.
• Greets customers and answers questions regarding menu.
• Takes food and beverage orders.
• Ensues that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.
• Uses proper judgment and when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
• Collects money from customers for items served and tracks totals for items sold.
• Utilizes Point of Sales system (POS).
• Maintains clean equipment and keeps cart organized.
• Keeps the cart stocked at all times.
• Participates in workplace safety training sessions.
• Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• None

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional golf course environment. This role routinely uses standard golf course and bar equipment. Continuously works with others and in hot or humid temperatures outside.
This is a full-time seasonal positions. Days and hours of work are varied based on needs of the guests.
Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent driving skills.
• Good math skills to calculate sales and give accurate change.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer services skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (to include containers of ice, bottles and cans of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food supplies)
• Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Stamina to work long shifts, when required.
• Ability to safely drive a beverage/golf cart.

Required Education and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Applicable state licensing and certification required.
