Benefits Specialist Job at NORTH MISSISSIPPI HEALTH SERVICES
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Benefit Specialist with a passion for employee benefits to join our team. The ideal candidate will designated benefit plans system wide and is an employee advocate, acting as the functional expert and assists with driving the support of employee benefits at a successful level.Provides support for: health, dental, vision, pension, profit sharing, top hat, clinic retirement plan(s), life, & disability.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent business experience and education required, Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum of 3 year’s benefit administration experience in an HR setting preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook); required
- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills; required
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; customer service & interpersonal skills; required
- Working knowledge with payroll and benefits systems; preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
