We are professional, agile, creative and our goal is to Bertha Izalee Matella is seeking a Behavioral Caregiver to provide support and caregiving needs for adults with developmental challenges and autism. A Behavioral Caregiver will work closely with the administrator to implement the behavioral care plan and keep track of the clients’ behavioral progress through each session. This care plan will improve the clients interaction, socialization, and continuation of activities of daily routines. The caregiver is compassionate, dependable leaders who support the clients everyday need. Professionals take care of people suffering from disabilities by providing support services and encouraging the clients to lead an independent life and to stay integrated within their communities..

This full-time position in a busy home health care agency is an opportunity for an experienced, dedicated Behavioral Specialist to join a dynamic and goal-oriented team. We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping others, is comfortable working independently and who enjoys working as part of a team. This position requires the ability to create and implement behavior plans for children who need help with their physical, emotional, social and vocational needs. A successful candidate will also be able to maintain high productivity and good communication skills with all members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with patients and families to develop an appropriate plan of care.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of services provided to patients.
• Make recommendations for modifications to the plan of care.
• Provide emotional support for patients and their families.
• Provide information about community resources.
• Refer patients to appropriate community resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
