The Academy for Precision Learning is a K-12 independent school located in Seattle's University District. We serve a neurodiverse community of learners, with a focus on autism. APL provides a personally-tailored program, targeting social skills, coping skills, behavior management and functional skill development. We are currently hiring Behavior Technicians to work with Learners who need individualized ABA. We will pay for your training and Certified Behavior Technician License,

Instructional Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized attention and instruction to students who require support
• Implementation of behavior management plans for students
• Use of data for data-based decision-making regarding student performance
• Consults regularly BCBAs about learners behavioral and social performance

Classroom Administration Responsibilities :

• Production and maintenance of instructional materials
• Charts data in a timely manner and in accordance with APL standards
• Organization and maintenance of data and materials
• Performs duties as assigned by Classroom leadership

Other Responsibilities :

• Regular and consistent communication with BCBA's, and Clinical Leadership team
• Adheres to policies and procedures as stated in Employee Manual
• Accepts direction & positively responds to constructive feedback
• Flexible and adaptive to change
• Supports the learning of other team members
• Personnel paperwork is completed in a timely manner
• Weekly timesheets completed and submitted to Administration & follow guidelines for submitting Time-Off requests
• Develop positive relationships with Students, Parents, and Families
• Create a positive, professional, and family-friendly environment within the classroom
• Punctual and respectful of the workday
