Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC). Provide instructor and training development support services to ALU to support the ALU training mission. Provide performance-oriented training as directed, using the TRADOC approved BOLC program of instruction (POI) and in compliance with Government defined instructor-to-student ratios. Training provided can be classroom training and/or hands-on performance-oriented training, simulation/virtual training and/or field exercise training or combat scenario driven live-fire training in a realistic but safe environment. The realistic combat training environment could be Logistic Warrior, Range Training, and Convoy Live Fire Exercise (CLFX) related reflexive fire, or any other Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved combat training situations. Additionally, instructor and training development support services in maintaining instructional materials including programs of instruction (POIs), lesson plans, practical exercises with solution sets, and other lesson material; and updating student and instructor records.

Qualifications

• Graduated from the LOGC3 or US Army Captain Career Course.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Had a minimum of 12 months of successful Company Commander time (copy of an Officer Evaluation Report required for verification).
• Have a minimum of seven years of prior military service.
• Preferred recent deployment experience in the last ten years.
• Must have one year of experience teaching, developing, or reviewing course material, training aids and manuals for military training programs.
• Able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 pounds), long periods of standing, sitting, or walking up to eight (8) hours per day in inclement weather conditions.
• Must be able to attain and maintain a CAC
