Bartender

We are looking for a friendly Bartender to take and prepare drink orders. You’ll be the face of our brewery and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Bartender responsibilities include pouring and serving draft beers, craft cocktails, wine, and other speciality drinks. Running food orders to the correct tables and keeping empty used glassware clear from tables. Having a polite and friendly attitude is a must. This is an excellent opportunity for a people person who loves providing friendly, memorable experiences to customers in a fast-paced, fun, beer centered, and music inspired environment.

Responsibilities

• Craft beer pours with great care for the product
• Creating craft cocktails with speed and accuracy
• Educating our customers on the history of Wedgewood Brewing and our beer
• Flavor profile assessment and the ability to guide customers through their decision making process with ease and efficiency
• Present kitchen finished food orders to tables for customers
• Answer questions or make recommendations to customers
• Strong communication with other kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Relevant experience in a fast paced bar or restaurant environment
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties

• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Flexible schedule and a willingness to work nights and weekends as needed to ensure coverage and that the bar needs are met
