Bartender Job at Portofino Island Resort

Hours/Days: Monday - Sunday 10 am - 4 pm, 12 pm - 9 pm, 4 pm - 9 pm.

Must be able to follow SOP's. Must have knowledge in preparing alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Must be able to remember multiple drinks receipts. Must be able to work in a fast past enviroment. Able to guide guest through drink and food menus and be able to give suggestions. Must be 18 years of age.
I. Summary of the mainfunction/purpose of the position:
A bartender is responsible for preparing beverages for guests and homeowners. They should be highly knowledgeable of a variety of beverages, and provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests’.
II. Key Principal duties/responsibilities:
- Prepare beverages using a wide variety of mixes such as: Liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Paying extreme attention to detail while taking orders from guests
- Providing beverages in a timely manner
- Provide a positive experience while interacting with guest
- Making sure the bar is properly stocked with all necessary items
- Collecting payment for drinks and closing out tabs
- Verifying guest are age appropriate
- Keeping all surrounding areas clean and sanitized
- Provide menus for snacks or appetizers
- Limit possible problems by restricting alcohol intake
