Summer Moon Coffee is looking for personable, dependable, and energetic Baristas to join our team at our Friendswood, Texas location!

We're a family-run business made up of a diverse community of coffee lovers. What we all have in common is a deep passion for delivering high quality, Oak Roasted coffee and exceptional service to Summer Moon customers.

• Schedule: MUST BE AVAILABLE SOME WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

Duties/responsibilities:

· Provide exceptional customer experiences

· Take orders inside and outside (in drive thru) and process payments

· Serve baked goods

· Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages as requested

· Inform customers about our Oak Roasted Coffee, Moon Milk, and other signature products

· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment including equipment, utensils, and dishes

· Stock retail products and maintain merchandise displays

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Obtain valid food handler’s certification

· Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

· Ability to serve customers in a friendly, quick, and efficient manner

· Successfully complete job training and 60-day probationary period

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

· Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift (typically 6- 8 hours)

Experience: Barista/Food Service (preferred but not required)

Character: Team-oriented, outgoing, ambitious, diligent, dependable, reliable

Job Types: Part time and full time positions available

Pay: $11- 18/Hr (Tips included in this amount, checks and tips paid weekly)
