ROLE SUMMARY:

The Nice Guy in Los Angeles is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Barback. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented and encourages a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred. Please note that you must have prior barback experience to be considered for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides superior customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Ensures a consistent flow of services to guest and servers by assisting bartender with their job functions
• Maintains a clean work environment
• Stocks garnishes and mixes, cuts fruit to specification and prepares all condiment caddies
• Works as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensures compliance of all health and safety regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience in high volume restaurants
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced environments
• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
• Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of classic bartending and technical skills
• Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.

Must have a certified Food Handlers card and Responsible Beverage Service Training or the ability to obtain before being hired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.04 per hour
