Job Summary

General setup and breakdown of all banquet and member events.

Essential Functions

Leadership

• Promotes a positive work culture.

General Duties

• Complete the physical set-up of banquet space
• Complete the physical break-down of banquet space.
• Arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
• Adhere to all banquet diagrams and checklists.
• Maintain proper organization of all banquet and equipment storerooms.
• Physically clean and store tables and banquet equipment.
• Transportation of equipment between club storage and event areas.
• Cleans and stores child highchairs and booster seats.
• Collects soiled linen from dining room, transfers to linen pick-up area.
• Rolls silverware, folds napkins, and breadbasket linens.

• Polishes silver service items.
• Polishes glassware items.
• Moves tables and chairs as needed for the next member and guest dinners.
• Re-sets tables at end of shift for the next meal period.
• Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.

Other Functions

• Ability to follow clear communication and directive from management.
• Attends all staff meetings.
• Assists with daily cleaning tasks.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred one year work experience in a food & beverage/physically demanding environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
• Continuous movement up and down stairs
