The Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center is looking for an energetic, outgoing individual to serve meals at weddings and company events in a banquet-style atmosphere. This is an evening and weekend position. In addition to a $150 New Hire Bonus After 90 Days, this position is eligible for additional tip-out incentives.
Job Duties:
- Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.
- Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply departments to serving area.
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
- Perform cleaning and stocking duties.
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Required to be able to lift approximately 50 or more pounds.
- Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
- Previous food & beverage service experience is not required but preferred.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
