Kneaded by Lady J is an Artisanal Baking & Catering Studio providing specialty breads and grazing platters for local customers and events. We are an independent woman-owned business specializing in high quality, all natural, locally-sourced ingredients with beautifully creative & unique recipes and presentations. Kneaded also participates in local festivals and offers private baking classes and "bake & sip" parties at our studio in Brielle, NJ.

Kneaded by Lady J is seeking a Baker's Apprentice to become Lady J' right hand at our studio in Brielle. The ideal candidate will have the desire to learn and be part of a team and the ambition to make this their career. Responsibilities will include food preparation, customer service, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, kitchen organization & inventory, event preparation and more!

This position is intended to grow into a full-time role and could lead to a management position with proper training and certification.

Requirements

Bakery, Catering and/or Event experience required. Experience in a commercial kitchen desired.

Understanding of food safety practices. ServSafe Certification a plus.

Excellent time-management skills

Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

Team spirit, with a customer-first attitude

Flexibility to work varying hours; early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
