We are currently looking for an AVP/Branch Manager to join our Retail Banking team.
Job Summary
Perform a variety of complex duties to serve customers/prospects by providing excellent customer service with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism, while fully exploring customer needs and providing appropriate products and services. Trains, directs, and supervise branch staff. Monitors service and sales quality levels and mentors’ staff to achieve goals.
What you can expect to work on
- Promote a sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.
- Implement and monitor the branch’s strategic plan and ensure the plan is being followed by all branch personnel.
- Establish branch goals for sales, referrals, and retention, and manage activities of branch personnel in meeting these goals.
- Understand branch products and processes completely and assist others with transactions and correcting errors as needed.
- Use experience and judgment to make sound business decisions.
- Serve as the backup to Personal Bankers or CSRs as needed during peak periods.
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at-all-times.
- Oversee daily branch operations and assure a high level of productivity and customer service.
- Provide guidance to branch personnel to assure quality operations, efficiency and accuracy in data processing, account administration, and the handling of all customer transactions.
- Ensure observance of all audit procedures.
- Prepare and monitor budget and costs.
- Complete monthly and periodic audit and compliance reports.
- Monitor the branch’s compliance with all Bank policies and procedures including the Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program.
- Conduct weekly meetings to maintain efficient flow of operational information, improve sales and service skills/knowledge, and encourage staff to build customer relationships.
- Interview and hire branch staff and develop schedules that most effectively utilize personnel to meet customer needs.
- Analyze and recommend changes to systems and operational procedures that will improve the delivery of service to customers and the efficiency of the branch.
- Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
What you offer us
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- 5 years supervisory/management experience required
- 5 years sales and sales leadership experience preferred
- 5 years’ experience in the financial industry, community banks preferred

- Hours: Must be flexible to work varying shifts from 8:45 am - 5:15 pm, Monday - Friday, (40 hours) with a rotating Saturday morning.

This position will be based out of our Lexington, MO branch.
