As our Front Office Sale Associate, you are often the first person the customer sees or speaks with at our dealership. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receptionist’s responsibilities generally include the following:

  • Advertising, marketing, sales ideation and execution to drive automotive sales
  • Creating physical and digital sales and marketing campaigns including social media
  • Identifying community, local and digital partnership and advertising opportunities and events
  • Researching and executing new social media and advertising campaign trends for the automotive industry
  • Creating a positive first impression and delivering an exceptional and enticing customer experience
  • Assisting in scheduling and confirming sales appointments - following up with customers
  • Respond quickly to customer phone calls, internet leads through online scheduling, and live chat inquiries.
  • Gathering accurate / needed information from the customer for test drives through closeout of a sale
  • DMV knowledge
  • Updating / assisting with website information
  • Assisting with online car sales / postings
  • Basic accounting and finance skills
  • Responding to customer questions and concerns.
  • Answering dealership group phones, greeting and receiving prospects and customers.
  • Typing memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A passion for creating and closing automotive sales is a must!
  • Extremely organized and attention to detail
  • Digital and online technology skills - computer literate
  • Basic knowledge with printer, scanner, fax
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive a plus
  • Social Media knowledge and social advertising knowledge or research skills i.e. Facebook (marketplace), Instagram, Twitter etc.
  • Strong Customer Service / Customer Facing Background
  • High level Multi-tasker & attention to detail in a busy setting
  • Excellent listening/communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
  • Professional appearance
  • Must be able to stand, sit and mobilize through various dealership work areas (sometimes for extended periods)
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
  • Must have skills in handling and counting cash accurately

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelors or pursuing Bachelors in Business, Sales or advertising a plus
  • Two to three years' previous experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
