Our Finance Center team is centrally located and supports all Walser dealerships.

Our Finance Specialist's primary responsibility is to provide support to our sales staff in all our dealerships. This is done through use of our proprietary software. You drive the data. You give our sales people the numbers. You build the deal. This is a position that teaches you every aspect of automotive finance. You'll build relationships with all the dealerships you're assigned to and become a subject matter expert within those brands. On the other side, you'll build strong working relationships with all our preferred lenders on a daily basis.

40,000 annual salary base

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with banks and captives to secure financing including learning multiple banks and captives’ guidelines and loan structures, and maintaining bank and captive programs on a monthly basis
• Work car deals from beginning to end
• Work simultaneously with multiple computer systems/stores including data entry
• Analyze and review appropriate documents
• Communicate with dealership personnel and financial institutions as necessary
• Analyze customer credit and bank selection
• Compare manufacturer APRs to conventional rates/rebates
• Analyze multiple bank decisions
• Maximize preferred lender program
• E-contract multiple optional products
• CVR (issue of license plates)
• Maximize finance reserve

What You’ll Bring

• One year of prior customer service experience
• Finance experience helpful
• Experience working simultaneously with multiple computer systems
• Experience with finance computer systems helpful
• Ability to learn company specific software
• Multitasking skills to handle more than one deal at a time
• Proficient typing skills, accuracy essential
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Post-secondary education preferred
