AutoCAD Detailer / Drafter for Multi-Story Construction Project

We are seeking a dynamic AutoCAD professional to join our team at our Corporate office in Huntington Beach, CA. The AutoCAD Detailer is part of our experienced team which includes AutoCAD, Field Construction Coordination, and Project & Order Management. Our projects are chute & compactor systems in multi-story high-density residential and commercial projects.

What you may do in a day:

• Assess contract and bid documents for constructability and product requirements to develop detailed submittal drawings and make recommendations to customers as needed.
• Create accurate, professional drawings in AutoCAD using established details and methods to assemble a complete package.
• Prepare accurate submittal packages which include supporting product information, diagrams and schematics.

The ideal AutoCAD Detailer/Drafter will have:

• AutoCAD Certificate or equivalent training and professional experience. Revit skills and experience are a plus.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience, including residential/commercial properties industry.
• Experience detailing wood frame construction, preferably multi-story.
• Excellent in use of MS Office, Excel, Bluebeam and related tools.
• Strong, clear, and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• $26.00 - $36.00 per hour DOE
