Audio-Visual Technician (Hourly) Job at WESTAT
Westat is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to support of our staff's conferencing room equipment available to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on-site at our Rockville, MD location. The successful candidate must have a desire and aptitude to own the assigned tasks and projects, and complete in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, breakdown, track and troubleshoot Audio/Visual equipment in Conference Rooms, for Digital Signage, and other related A/V equipment.
- Conduct routine conference room testing and quality inspections.
- Assist in the setup and support of Online Meetings, Conferences and Webinars, using various platforms and technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience with A/V Touchpad systems and associated equipment (Crestron, Poly, etc.).
- Working knowledge of the latest communications platforms including MS Teams, Webex, Zoom and others.
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service expertise.
- Ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with installation/troubleshooting of A/V equipment in a large corporate environment.
- Proficiency with using MS Office products
