A Day in the Life

As an Airways Associate Sales Representative with our Respiratory Interventions (RI) Operating Unit (OU), you will partner with the Inside/Remote Sales Reps and focus on Medtronic’s Airway product portfolio, including airway monitors, and tracheostomy and endotracheal tubes (ETT). As an Airway Associate Rep, you are responsible for driving Shiley™ tracheostomy tube adoption and utilization within select existing accounts, identifying expansion opportunities for growth within those accounts while driving continued use and growth of our consumable airway portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase adoption of key consumable products within the Respiratory Interventions portfolio
    • Build customer relationships in key Shiley™ accounts ensuring appropriate adoption, usage, and customer satisfaction.
    • Educate, train, and troubleshoot where needed.
    • Identify new product opportunities to expand our airway footprint within assigned accounts.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction as a high priority.
  • Coordinate with remote sales team to help target and expand the RI product portfolio.
  • Leverage relationships to drive both Shiley™ and other airways consumable product utilization.
  • Coordinate new purchases of Shiley™ products.
  • As necessary, conduct operation, care, and maintenance training to clinical staff.
  • Provide technical information to healthcare staff consistent with product user manuals and instructions for use.

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0 years of experience required with an introductory knowledge of company products and services

Competencies: Competitive and confident while also adept at participating in a team environment; personable, energetic, responsive, confident, and honest.

Travel Requirement: minimum of 75% travel (driving and flying) within assigned region.
