Job Description


The International team is on a journey to double our business over the next 10-years by bringing more moments of goodness to consumers. As a critical member of the Hershey International Commercial Growth Office (iCGO), the Associate Manager Marketing Analytics is accountable for supporting this journey by leveraging the power of data analytics to drive marketing growth across the international team (Globe excluding USA).
They will work in partnership with the iCGO marketing team and regional marketing teams to develop and promote a long-term strategic measurement plan for the international organization. In addition, they will support, through analytics, the success of (including but not limited to) digital commerce, SME, social, MarTech, campaign performance management, etc. They will promoting a culture of measurement and experimentation by fostering agile practices (test/learn scale/fail fast program).
The successful candidate will have a passion for data & analytics, knowing that it is a key competitive advantage for driving our beloved brand growth, championing the consumer and enhancing marketing excellence.


Working closely with international marketing teams you will…
1) Develop and Enhance our Digital Commerce/Marketing Capabilities
a. In partnership with regional teams, work to develop a strategic growth roadmap for digicom
b. Leveraging data to target optimization within awareness, consideration and purchase (shopper funnel)
c. Benchmark industry best practices quarterly to identify key ecom/digicom trends to exploit & pinpoint levers to pull within the strategy to maximize sales


2) Data analytics to enhance Marketing Activation Potential
a. Campaign/media analysis (traditional, SME, Social, etc.), in-year activation optimization. Recommendations for future activation optimization
b. Responsible for data analytics; existing marketing capabilities, new capability development,
developing a framework/playbook on how to maximize data to drive our growth strategy
c. Analyze market data on a monthly basis to assess areas of opportunity across international regions
d. Support the development of our multi-year capability building roadmap


3) Reporting
a. Deliver International Digicom analytics dashboard (tracking KPIs and financial metrics), recommend optimization required to hit plan
b. Deliver marketing dashboards, reporting and KPI tracking
Create and manage multi-regional share tracking tool


Skills & Knowledge Required:
  • Proactive & passion for learning
  • Proven track record of delivering results, sense of urgency
  • Strong collaborator and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills; active listening and written/oral communication
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytics, ability to leverage multiple data sets to drive insights into action
  • Digicom proficiency and ability to learn as this area continues to develop
  • High proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Nielsen/IRI or equivalent


Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA not required but preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive responsibility within CPG, digicom/marketing experience.
  • Strong analytics background
