Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Medicine, the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Records shall be responsible for all matters related to medical student affairs. The Associate Dean will be a faculty member with a record of achievement in teaching and student advising and mentoring and will continue educational, clinical, or research activities as time permits, understanding that the responsibilities in student affairs will require 80-90% effort. The Associate Dean will have supervisory responsibilities for the Assistant Deans for Student Affairs as well as the support staff assigned to the office.
